It's been brought to my attention that my 4 week old son may be experiencing a milk protein allergy. I would like to continue breastfeeding him if at all possible, so I guess the next step for me is to cut all dairy out of my diet and see if that helps. That leads me to my next question here...is there anything I can do to speed up the "detox" process in my body to clean it out of my system faster? We're really suffering here, and I'm desperate to solve this problem. I have him on a hypoallergenic formula at the moment which is helping us regain a little bit of our sanity, and I'm pumping bottles to keep up my supply - but I'm already noticing that I'm pumping less and less, so the sooner I can nurse him again the better. Anyway...what's the best way to get rid of the dairy from my body besides obviously not eating any....drinking more water, I assume...but anything else? Thanks so much, this forum has done wonders for me already!

My One friend has allergies and she lost her ID and wants me to go to the store for her to buy a special kind of allergy drug over the counter but have to get at the pharmacy called: “Sudafed.” Is it illegal for me to get that for her? I know getting PRESCRIPTION DRUGS FOR SOMEONE AND SHARING PRESCRIPTION DRUGS IS ILLEGAL but what about over the counter medicine? Is it still considered over the counter medicine if I get it from the pharmacy and need an ID? Even if I don’t have a prescription, will it still be over the counter if I have to ask for it at the pharmacy? I am worried now about doing this because I don’t know if its illegal to get a drug for somebody like Tyleno or something like “Sudafed.” Is it illegal to give her my Sudafed if she can’t go to the store?

For the last month, the inner corner of my left eye has been itchy like crazy. My eyes aren't dry and I tried the eye drop route anyway at one point. I definitely don't have allergies (it's been checked a good 5 times by now) and there's nothing in my eye. I just figured it would go away eventually or that it was mostly mental like when you think about lice and then your head itches. But it's starting to drive me crazy when I'm working, so any solutions are appreciated!

We have not been giving him straight eggs (i.e scrammbled/omeletts), but we have been allowing him to eat foods that contain egg (i.e. pancakes, cookies, etc) without any noticable reaction. I have read conflicting things about this. One view point is to keep allowing him to eat foods that he doesn't have a rection to so his body builds up a tolerance.
I am a 26 years old f. I have a particular allergy. That is, I cannot eat foods with the normal amount of sugar or salt. If I eat like that, I will have itching in my skin. Then I have to visit the doctor. The doctor is giving some medicines, which are giving me temporary solutions. I cannot eat anything which is sweet. In the food I eat I should not add salt. In the tea or milk which I drink I should not add sugar. If I do so, then I will have itching in my skin. I want to get a permanent solution to this problem. Do you know any natural ways or do you know any ayurvedic or siddha ways (any hospital), where I can get a permanent solution. If you know some good solution please let me know. I am from Chennai (Tamil Nadu). The doctor has adviced me not to take the normal amount of sugar and salt. Due to this, I am facing another problem, I am having low BP, since I am not taking the normal amount of sugar. I want to get rid of this allergy and I wish to eat like a normal person.
