Our Jack Russell was scratching severely the last couple of years. The vet gave her allergies shots, steroids, and antihistamine. She then developed black spots on her belly that we first thought was dirt. The vet told us she has Staph infection. Shots weren't helping, so we put her on raw food. It helped her scratching a bit, but not much. We've tried specialty skin shampoo's and fish oil. We thought maybe its a reaction to too much yeast, so we took her off anything that would have flour. Still to no avail, the spots are spreading and her hair is coming out. She doesn't have patches of hair missing, just thinner hair all over. Any ideas? Has anyone been through this?

My son just turned 1 year old a few days ago.
His last wellness check-up was when he turned 9 months.
A few weeks after his last check-up, when he was almost 11 months, we moved.
My husband is in the military and we moved from a base in the US to a base in the UK.
We still are seeing a pediatrician on base,
however we have never met this particular pediatrician before.
Changing pediatricians is something we are very familiar with, as most military wives may know.
However having a 1 year old is a first for both my husband and I. :) We were wondering if there was anything we should expect at our son's 12 month check-up?
Questions the pediatrician may ask us?
Questions we should maybe ask the pediatrician? Our son is normally very healthy and very happy.
A great eater, a great sleeper, etc.. Always has been.
Worst of it was a couple ear infections months ago but he was never fussy about it.
Autism and milk allergies do run in the family however he is not currently showing signs of either.
Developmentally he seems on track- as far as we can tell. If you could share your experiences with your child(ren)s 1 year wellness check up,
the knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I never usually get many colds, one a year maybe, but since October ive had 5! And ive just got another one. But they're not really bad colds- mainly i sneeze alot and my nose will not stop running, my throat is a little sore, and i get a slight headache. They never affect my chest and they're not really severe- but they're enough to make me feel unwell and they'll last about 4 or 5 days. But as theyre so frequent im starting to wonder if i have a an allergy to something? Although ive never suffered an allergy to anything before so is it possible to suddenly develop one? And i dont know if this would be related but i am anaemic, although have been for the last 5 years. i know that means i have low immunity so i am more likely to catch bugs. And another thing, ive started developing a rash/boils when i wear items of clothing containing polyester- which ive established through a process of elimination. Is there any way this is all related?! Thanks.
Answers that don't suggest visiting 'http://www.all-home-remedies.com' please. Any other answers that don't want to use my question as advertising space are welcome though lol.
