Open Question: answers from people who have experienced this….not a medical professional who’s gonna copy & paste.?
Cancer is in my family. In April I had a LEEP to remove pre-cancerous tissues from my cervix. A few weeks ago I experienced pain during sex so bad I almost cried, I bled (like a good gush during a period) during sex, have had cramps, extreme fatigue for a few days and my period was the strangest it's ever been (I'm not pregnant, my husband got fixed). It only lasted a day (sooo not like me), had a blackish discharge the day before, bled kinda heavy for a day, then back to the blackish discharge for a day. My breasts are sensitive (more than usual) like whenever I was pregnant & I keep having migraines (I'm prone to them but this isn't the normal time of year for them) and my insomnia is horrible lately...worse than usual. My husband keeps telling me to make an appointment but I have my checkup October 14th and I'm not sure if going now is going to make a difference....or if they'll even take me early. I had the LEEP in April of this year and my first follow up visit is in October. I've fully healed from the LEEP & went through the original side effects & all that. What I'm experiencing is 4 1/2 months after surgery.
